TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
