Who Is Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.

Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal click here policies, and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
