Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
